Wood School Internship & Volunteering programs

At Wood School Bali, we welcome passionate individuals from around the world, especially Europe who want to contribute meaningfully to progressive education. Whether you’re a student, a graduate, or a professional, our internship and volunteer programs are legally supported, ethically aligned, and profoundly rewarding.

Internship Roles Available (2–6 months)


  • Teaching Support (English, arts, ecology, yoga)
  • Curriculum Development (for progressive education)
  • Community Projects & Outreach
  • Admin, Marketing & Event Support


All roles include orientation, weekly check-ins, and documentation for university credits (if applicable)

Volunteer Roles (2–12 weeks)


  • After‑school clubs
  • Community events
  • School gardening & permaculture
  • Event and festival assistance
  • Storytelling & reading circles


Ideal for gap year travelers or short-term contributors. Must follow visa guidelines

Visa & Legal Support

We sponsor official Internship Visas for European students and professionals.

Our process includes:

1. Invitation Letter from Wood School Bali

2. Internship role description

3. Coordination with your university (if needed)

4. Visa guidance and ongoing support


You must begin the visa process at least 6–8 weeks before arrival. Volunteers who prefer short-term involvement can apply through a Social-Cultural Visa pathway.


Eligibility

• Citizens of European countries

• 18 years and older

• Conversational English or Bahasa Indonesia

• Passion for education, sustainability, or community development

• Valid passport & travel insurance
