HEALTH, SAFETY, AND DIETARY

We offer an optional vegan snack and lunch program, primarily organic. Participation in this program is required to access school snacks; however, parents can pack healthy homemade vegan meals for their children. We are also plastic free!


We recommend comfortable clothes suitable for active learning and outdoor activities.   

At Wood School, we encourage individuality by allowing students to choose their attire and whether to wear shoes. This promotes creativity, self-expression, and comfort, enhancing engagement in activities. We discourage clothing with harmful labels, fostering a culture of diversity and inclusion that boosts self-confidence.

Research shows that going barefoot improves balance, coordination, and spatial awareness while deepening children's connection to nature, essential for fostering environmental stewardship.


Basic first aid and homeopathic remedies are administered; parents are notified for more serious issues.
