Looking for internships in bali or volunteering in bali? Apply for a teaching internship in bali at Wood School Bali—mentor-led placements (4–12 weeks) in Ubud with real classroom impact.

Tracks (choose one; add a secondary if you like)

Teaching & Learning (Primary/Middle/High) — co-plan lessons, run small groups, assess with rubrics, document portfolios 

 Learning Support & Inclusion — scaffolds, visuals, social stories, restorative practice
Outdoor & Permaculture — garden systems, compost, nature journaling, safe fieldwork.
Arts, Music & Movement — integrate creative practice into literacy/numeracy; document performances.
Media & Documentation — ethical photo/video, newsletters, displays of learning
Research & Evaluation — small low-risk studies with school approval; share findings with staff.

Time Commitment

Internships: 4–12 weeks, ~20–30 hrs/week, weekly mentor meeting & reflections.
Volunteering: 1–4 weeks, ~15–20 hrs/week, paired with a lead teacher.
Start dates: rolling; Monday orientation during term (Calendar)

Mentoring & Outcomes

 Named Site Supervisor + weekly coaching.
Learning goals set in Week 1 (aligned to your university criteria if needed).
Portfolio of plans, assessments, and impact evidence—useful for credit or employment. Need credit paperwork? See FAQ below 

Visas, Housing & Costs

 We provide school letters; you apply directly (or via a licensed agent). Visa notes in FAQ below
You arrange housing/transport; we share trusted Ubud/Pejeng contacts.
No agency middleman; you cover personal costs (travel, visa, insurance, housing, meals).

Short online interview; safeguarding paperwork.
Acceptance letter & pre-arrival reading; Monday orientation.

FAQ - Volunteering-Internships

Who is eligible?
University students, recent graduates, or career-switchers in relevant fields; strong spoken English; references and a background check.


How long should I stay?
Internships: 4–12 weeks. Volunteering: 1–4 weeks. Longer by agreement. Will I get academic credit?
Your university decides. We provide supervision, evaluations, timesheets, and an MOU if required. (See FAQ → /faq.)


Is there a program fee?
You cover travel, visa, insurance, housing, and meals. We do not use third-party placement agencies.


Do you provide housing?
No. We share trusted local options in Ubud/Pejeng to book directly.


What visa do I need?
Varies by passport/length. We provide letters and refer licensed agents; you apply directly. (Visa basics in FAQ.)
